How Functional Nutrition Can Help
What we eat can work for or against us. Our cells, hormones, and neurotransmitters are all made of what we eat. By providing the body exactly what it needs to thrive, we can energize our bodies and reduce inflammation.
Feeding your brain and body the nutrients they need is vital to overcoming fatigue, brain fog, and body pains.
Working together, we can focus on your health priorities by determining your nutritional deficiencies and optimizing your diet and possibly supplements to support your energy levels.
My Services
Complimentary Health Evaluation
This informative and free 20-minute call is the first step. It allows us to discuss your current health challenges and goals and to determine whether functional nutrition is right for you.
To request your Complimentary Health Evaluation, simply reach out to me through my contact form. I will send you a questionnaire to better understand your current situation, which we will review together during our call.
Single Sessions
Comprehensive nutrition consultation
All services begin with this 90-minute initial interview where we address your health concerns, medical/family history, current medications, detailed symptom information, assessment results, and food journal. We will work together to design a personalized dietary and lifestyle protocol that addresses your health concerns and moves you toward your health goals.
Follow up Sessions
In our follow up sessions, we will spend 45-60 minutes reviewing progress, conducting any reassessments as needed, adjusting your dietary plan if needed, and updating your personalized plan.

Comprehensive Programs
These programs allow us to work together more intensively to help you make forward, focused progress toward your health goals.
restart Group program
WHO THIS PROGRAM IS FOR
Women and men who want to break their sugar addiction and experience the pain relief, mental clarity, and energy that results from eating whole foods.
WHAT THIS PROGRAM IS
In these groups, we walk through 5 weeks of foundational nutrition education (including a 3 week sugar detox) with small group support. These groups contain all the important concepts that form the foundation of holistic health. In fact, I may require that potential clients begin their work with me in one of these groups. Instead of paying for one-on-one instruction on key health principles, you can learn and practice the most important foundations of health with the support of a group. We meet one night a week (on Zoom) for an hour, and I am available to participants via email and a Facebook group. Each participant fills out a toxicity & symptom questionnaire at the start and end of the program to see their growth. I have seen remarkable changes across all participants, and many have shared their intention to continue following the food plan because they feel so wonderful.
Gut Health program
WHO THIS PROGRAM IS FOR
Women and men who are eager to ditch the annoying and persistent symptoms that seem to be unrelated to anything exact. Things like intestinal complaints, bloating, heartburn, anxiety, itchiness, fatigue, and irritability can all stem from an imbalanced microbiome and leaky gut. This program is designed for those who would like to decrease the unpredictability of their emotions, minimize feelings of anxiety, and increase their digestive comfort.
WHAT THIS PROGRAM IS
This 4-month program is designed to optimize blood sugar and fuel the brain through personalized nutrition protocols and supplementation as needed. We will identify and create a plan for addressing nutritional imbalances and deficiencies, balancing the microbiome, balancing blood sugar regulation, and removing inflammatory foods to optimize gut function.
This package includes the Comprehensive Nutrition Consultation and three follow up sessions as well as weekly phone and email support throughout the four months.

Functional Lab Testing
When possible, I like to utilize certain lab tests to assess where you are encountering issues so that I can address them in a more pointed manner. I have personally spent thousands of dollars on various supplements over the years (trying to address issues I couldn’t confirm), and I certainly would have saved money had I simply done lab testing to show where the dysfunction was. I have been trained to use these tests as a way to move you more quickly toward feeling your best. You can add these tests onto the cost of our sessions together, as I charge you the lab’s prices for these test.
Hair and Mineral Analysis Test
These tests give me a snapshot of what has been going internally with minerals and metals in your body. Hair is made of cells that are formed by the body, and as they grow, they leave evidence of the health status of the body along the way. Using this test, I decipher what systems in your body are functioning sub-optimally and can use it to offer a more targeted plan for your overall health.
GI Testing
GI testing shows me if there are any imbalances in your gastrointestinal tract via stool testing. The test is easy to manage and can be done at home. The results show me which bacteria (both helpful and pathogenic) are prevalent in your GI tract. This testing is a powerful tool and provides me insight on how to support your optimal gastrointestinal function through dietary changes and/or supplementation. Certain strains of bacteria have been linked to anxiety, depression, sugar cravings, skin issues, and infections. I'm always amazed at the connection between what is growing in the gut and what clients are experiencing elsewhere in their bodies.
Food Sensitivity Testing
This testing goes hand in hand with the GI testing. I use the Mediator Response Test, which assesses your body's response to specific foods (though a blood sample). Eating foods to which we are sensitive creates a more stressful environment in our bodies. Food sensitivities can develop when the gut lining wears down (due to impaired digestive function, medications, or specific illnesses). If we are repeatedly eating foods that stress our body, we work against our own healing and tax our nervous system, which in turn wears out the body. Knowing which foods currently trigger our immune system is helpful so that we can temporarily avoid those foods while focusing on healing up the gastrointestinal lining. After healing takes place, we can focus on reintroducing foods.
